Administrator (Spray Shop)

Location: Tedderfield
Type of employment: Permanent

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing aircraft deliveries;
  • Administer departmental correspondence via email and verbal communication;
  • Order required components from internal stores and external suppliers;
  • Update and maintain departmental schedule boards;
  • Compile, administer, file, and maintain all departmental reports and documentation;
  • Print all employee-related documentation;
  • Any other duties as may be instructed by the Spray Shop management.

Essential Requirements:

  • Matric (An Administration Diploma will be advantageous);
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative role;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Strong organisational and planning skills;
  • Effective time management skills;
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times;
  • Software competencies;
    1. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint);
    2. Knowledge of Omni will be advantageous.

QC Inspector (Spray Shop)

Location: Tedderfield
Type of employment: Permanent

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Inspection of all components pre and post painting;
  • Conduct inspections at various process stages, including;
    1. Incoming parts inspection;
    2. Pre paint parts inspection;
    3. Paintwork and final finish quality of parts during and after the polishing process;
    4. Control the continuous improvement function within the Spray Shop;
  • Assist the Spray Shop management in performing quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with the Spray Shop internal inspection and quality standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Matric;
  • Two years’ experience in aviation quality control, inspection, and paint defect analysis;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies;
  • General understanding of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems;
  • Good communication in English and teamwork skills.

Specialist (Panel Builder - Electrics)

Location: Tedderfield
Type of employment: Permanent

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Electrical harness/loom building for aircraft panels;
  • Assembling aircraft panels (avionics, switches, etc.) ready for installation;
  • Testing of various aircraft systems;
  • Fault finding;
  • Perform stock takes;
  • Book stock in and out;
  • Any other relevant duties assigned by the Electrics Manager.

 Essential Requirements:

  • Matric;
  • Related electrical qualification/s will be advantageous;
  • At least 2-year’s experience in panel building and using bench test equipment;
  • Excellent ability to read and understand complex wiring diagrams;
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems;
  • High level understanding of complex electronics, symbols etc;
  • Attention to detail is imperative and providing high quality workmanship;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to work independently within time limits with high quality.

Root Cause Analyst

Location: Tedderfield
Type of employment: Permanent

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Testing systems and procedures to ensure they meet technical standards and creating quality and safety documentation;
  • Identifying technical issues and problems, getting to the root of the problem, and proactively recommending solutions that will improve product durability and overall performance;
  • Improving, optimizing, and streamlining existing processes;
  • Administering non-conformance reports;
  • Documenting processes and procedures on the production line.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Quality, or an AME Qualification and experience in technical documentation. Experience in the Aviation Maintenance Planning space may also be cause for consideration;
  • At least 3 – 5 years of experience in a QA or QC environment within the manufacturing/sheet metal/aviation sector;
  • Knowledge of Quality Management standards (ISO, IPC, etc.);
  • Sound knowledge of quality control, quality assurance, and configuration management;
  • Experience in continuous quality improvement processes (Six Sigma, PDCA, etc.) with demonstrated results is preferred;
  • Advanced working knowledge in Corrective Action/Root Cause Analysis and Statistical Process Control is essential;
  • Experience in a design, manufacturing, and product support environment.
