Administrator (ICE)
Location: Tedderfield
Type of employment: Permanent
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Regularly check in with departments and team members to ensure ICE actions are completed on time;
- Send reminders for pending tasks and deadlines;
- Record and update status changes for ICE cases;
- Provide simple, regular updates to the ICE Coordinator or Quality team.
Essential Requirements:
- Matric;
- At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role;
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance environment;
- Customer service experience will be an advantage;
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines;
- Clear and professional communication skills;
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook);
- Strong attention to detail;
- Own reliable transport to travel between Sling Aircraft facilities;

Production Assistant (Stores)
Location: Alrode
Type of employment: Permanent
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Daily picking of parts for allocated kits on schedule to build spec;
- Ensure picking is done timeously and accurately as required per kit;
- Maintain bin locations and stock replenishment to 5s standard;
- Verify picking slip and scanned transfer correspond;
- Ensure condition and quality of parts picked conforms to required standards;
- Record and report out of stock parts and back-orders;
- Picking back-ordered parts to ensure full percent completeness of kits;
- Stock taking and reporting stock variances and queries;
- Maintain housekeeping in stores at all times;
- Actively assist team members in completing kits to meet scheduled deadlines.
Essential Requirements:
- Matric;
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a warehouse environment;
- High attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal (English);

Electric Manager
Location: Tedderfield
Type of employment: Permanent
Key Responsibility Areas:
Leadership and Operations
- Manage and oversee all staff within the Sling Electrics Department in line with company HR policy and procedures;
- Lead, coach, and develop the electrical team, building a high‑performance culture focused on safety and first‑time-right quality;
- Manage departmental planning and execution in line with production schedules;
- Establish, monitor, and improve departmental KPIs (first‑pass yield, OTD, rework rate, labor variance);
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvements.
Design Collaboration and Industrialisation
- Partner with Engineering to review and influence new designs for manufacturability, serviceability, routing/segregation, EMI/EMC, weight, and cost;
- Provide inputs on wire selection, shielding, grounding/bonding, connector families, splices, clamps, grommets, protective sleeving, and identification schemes;
- Review and influence build standards, harness drawings/panels, and tool/fixture concepts;
- Oversee first article builds and installations; Coordinate FAI (as applicable), process validation, and documented acceptance criteria;
- Ensure configuration management, serial number traceability, and effective engineering change control.
Manufacturing and Installation Excellence
- Own process discipline for cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, sleeving, lacing, over‑braiding, and labeling per aerospace standards;
- Ensure correct routing, clamping, separation, strain relief, chafe protection, firewall penetration, environmental sealing, and EMI mitigation practices in airframe installations;
- Implement robust inspection and test regimes (in‑process, final, install verification), troubleshoot hardware and software faults, and conduct effective corrective/preventive actions;
- Coordinate with Quality for conformity, flight‑worthiness releases, and regulatory audits;
- Support supplier selection and incoming quality. Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement on ERP data integrity (BOMs, suppliers, lead times), obsolescence, and shortages mitigation.
Compliance, Standards, and Safety
- Champion compliance with common aviation electrical practices and standards, such as:
- FAA AC 43.13‑1B/2B (acceptable aircraft inspection and repair practices);
- EASA/FAA Part 21 (product certification) and Part 145 (repair);
- Company Production Organisation (POA) procedures.
- Maintain compliance with electrical safety, FOD prevention, tool control, and safe installation practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or avionics (or extensive equivalent industry experience);
- Minimum 5 years’ in aircraft wiring harness manufacturing/installation (light aircraft, rotorcraft, UAV, or similar), with minimum 2’ years leading a team;
- Hands‑on expertise with harness build and aircraft installation best practices;
- Proficiency with harness drawings, schematics, wiring tables, and 2D/3D CAD outputs;
- Proven track record meeting quality, and delivery targets in a regulated aerospace environment;
- Knowledge of configuration management and traceability;
- Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) (advantage, not mandatory).

Store Man (Maintenance)
Location: Alrode

Key Responsibility Areas:
- Manage and maintain the maintenance store, ensuring accurate inventory levels and optimal stock control;
- Procure technical parts and materials, sourcing and evaluating suppliers as needed;
- Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules and activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations;
- Receive, inspect, and store parts and materials, ensuring proper labeling and documentation;
- Issue parts and materials to maintenance technicians, tracking usage, and updating inventory records;
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy;
- Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete stock, recommending disposal or write-off as necessary;
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and suppliers to resolve inventory-related issues;
- Review and process purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
- Develop and implement inventory management procedures, ensuring alignment with company standards;
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials;
- Analyse inventory trends and usage patterns to optimise inventory levels and reduce waste.
Essential Requirements:
- Matric;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a store man with inventory management;
- Excellent English language skills (written and verbal);
- Strong organisational and time management skills;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license;
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point);
- Experience with inventory management software;
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices;
- A technical certification or a Higher Certificate/Diploma in Inventory Management is advantageous.
