Maintenance Manager
Location: Tedderfield and Alrode
Type of employment: Permanent
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Maintenance of production facilities over three premises;
- Develop and maintain an efficient maintenance task management system, with defined turnaround service level agreements;
- Management of a small maintenance team;
- Installation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and pneumatic hardware;
- Preventative and reactive maintenance of small and large machinery (CNC routers, press brakes, compressors, etc.);
- Scheduling of regular maintenance tasks;
- General welding and manufacturing of steel structures;
- Record keeping and reporting;
- Prioritising, planning, ordering, and closing out maintenance tasks and projects.
Essential Requirements:
- Matric;
- Minimum of 3 years’ in a managerial role;
- Demonstrated experience in arc welding and general steel manufacturing;
- Computer literacy with report writing abilities;
- Own transport with the ability to travel between Sling Tedderfield and Sling Alrode;
- Electrical knowledge;
- Working knowledge of CNC machinery;
- Strong management and inter-personnel skills;
- Hands-on management style;
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Panel Builder (Electrics)
Location: Tedderfield
Type of employment: Permanent
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Electrical harness and loom building for aircraft panels;
- Assembling aircraft panels, avionics, switches, etc. ready for installation;
- Testing of various aircraft systems;
- Fault finding;
- Perform stock take;
- Book stock in and out.
Essential Requirements:
- Matric;
- Related electrical qualifications will be advantageous;
- At least 2 years’ experience in panel building and using bench test equipment;
- Excellent ability to read and understand complex wiring diagrams;
- Knowledge of aircraft systems;
- High level understanding of complex electronics, symbol, etc;
- Attention to detail is imperative and providing high quality workmanship;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to work independently within time limits with high quality.
