Key Responsibility Areas:

• Build, assemble, and terminate electrical looms, harnesses, and related components in accordance with drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Conduct continuity, functionality and fault-finding tests on aircraft electrical systems and components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in line with 5S and company standards.
• Perform regular stock takes and cycle counts within the Electrics department.
• Book stock and components in and out accurately on the relevant system.
• Ensure all materials, parts, and tools are correctly stored and accounted for.
• Report stock shortages, damaged stock, and discrepancies to the Electrics Manager.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timeously.
• Comply with all company health, safety, and quality procedures.

Essential Requirements:

• Matric.
• IPC certification on harness building or related Electrical qualification/s will be advantageous.
• At least 1 years’ experience in harness building and using bench test equipment will be advantageous.
• Ability to read and understand complex wiring diagrams.
• Basic aircraft knowledge will be advantageous.
• A good understanding of basic aircraft electronics and symbols will be advantageous.
• Attention to detail is imperative and providing good quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Laminate composite aircraft components in accordance with engineering specifications and approved manufacturing processes.
• Perform hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, resin infusion, and other composite lamination techniques.
• Measure and mix epoxy resins and associated materials accurately, ensuring compliance with specified ratios and procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications to ensure accurate manufacture.
• Conduct visual inspections and quality checks throughout the lamination process to identify defects such as air pockets, delamination, and surface imperfections.
• Adhere to all quality standards, procedures, and work instructions to ensure products meet aviation and company requirements.
