Production Assistant (Cleaner)
Location: Alrode
Type of employment: Permanent
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Perform routine sweeping and mopping of floors;
- Wipe down surfaces to control dust accumulation, and maintain a clean and safe working environment;
- Collect and dispose of trash in designated containers, ensuring proper waste disposal;
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and other facilities, to maintain a hygienic environment for employees;
- Maintain cleanliness in break rooms, meeting rooms, and other common areas by cleaning tables, countertops, and other surfaces;
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, such as cleaning solutions, paper towels, and trash bags, as needed;
- Any other duties as may be instructed by a member of company management.
Essential Requirements:
- Matric;
- Attention to detail;
- Self-starter – able to identify work that needs to be done, and do it without being instructed to do so;
- Friendly and professional – able to deal with fellow employees while cleaning is being performed;
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
