Together with Comet Aviation Supplies, we’re gearing up for an adrenaline-fueled weekend and we want YOU to be part of the action! From March 7th to 9th, Middelburg Airfield (FAMB) will be buzzing with aviation excitement and Team Sling will be there in full force! While this event is open to all pilots free of charge for the entire weekend, for the first time ever, Airweek will now also be open to the public all day Saturday at a cost of R100 per person with epic flying displays from 14h00 to 17h00 pm.

Runway 02/20 -1,345m x 25m – GVL.
14/32 – 1,800m x 15m – APH.
Airspace Unmanned.
Lateral limits initial contact 10nm from the airfield for traffic information, 5nm for traffic updates.
Circuit alt 5,800’ ALT (1,000’ AGL).
Call Sign Middelburg Radio.
Radio HOS: 7 – 9 March 2025 – 0500z – 0500z until 1500z.

• Delays may be expected during displays.
• Ground Freq 120,9 Mhz.
• Runway 14/32 for arrivals and departures.
• Pilots will be advised to join left/right downwind for the RWY in use, observe other traffic for safety.
  Avgas, JetA1 and Mogas available!

Camping on the Airfield
For those with their own equipment, camping on the airfield is allowed free of charge. Alternatively, if you wish to camp on the airfield but lack equipment, you have the option to rent a 1 sleeper tent. The airfield provides showers and other facilities for campers.
