Total serial numbers for aircraft and kits ordered are now approaching 1,000 and the factory employs more than 300 people in the south of Johannesburg. All this screams for a celebration of some kind, a get together of Sling pilots and aircraft in a fitting and centralised location. Where better than the pared down, stark and beautiful Tankwa Karoo? Just over 40 aircraft signed up for the adventure, including four from the factory, among them the two high wing prototypes.”

Team Sling will be camping out from next Friday to Sunday, 6th to 8th March, for a full weekend of flying, demos, good company, and proper aviation vibes.
