Total serial numbers for aircraft and kits ordered are now approaching 1,000 and the factory employs more than 300 people in the south of Johannesburg. This proudly South African product has been sold to people in 37 different countries around the world and we are proud to be the second most prolific supplier of kit aircraft on earth – from out here on the far southern tip of Africa.
All this screams for a celebration of some kind, a get together of Sling pilots and aircraft in a fitting and centralised location. Where better than the pared down, stark and beautiful Tankwa Karoo? Just over 40 aircraft signed up for the adventure, including four from the factory, among them the two high wing prototypes.”
