In addition to the pilots from Zimbabwe, there was a considerable contingent of competitors from South Africa, Kenya, Zambia and even as far afield as Switzerland and New Zealand.
The 50th edition of the Zimnavex attracted considerable sponsorship from several South African aviation businesses including Sling Aircraft, Absolute Aviation, Cirrus South Africa and Century Avionics.”
