Join us for a festive morning at Tedderfield as we celebrate the Moon Rise Muster — a fly-in for aviation lovers, future Sling owners, and the whole Sling community. Enjoy a free breakfast and beverages, browse Sling Store merchandise, and soak up the atmosphere with a Sling factory tour. The event is fur co-pilot friendly, and for those wanting to stay over, camping is available on site with deluxe ablutions, a kitchen, bar, braai area, fire pits, and access to all clubhouse facilities.
Demo Flights Available
Sling High Wing and Sling TSi demo flights will be available on the day, so this is the perfect opportunity to experience one firsthand. Please note, this is not about a quick, fun flip for your kids — these demo flights are intended for serious pilots or pilots in training who are genuinely considering the purchase of a Sling. Please remember to book your demo flight in advance via the link below, as this is essential for planning purposes on the day.
Factory Tour
From 08h00, guests are invited to enjoy a Sling Tedderfield factory tour for a behind-the-scenes look at where the magic happens.

We’ll also have Sling merchandise available for purchase. No cash will be accepted on site but card facilities will be available.

It’s go‑time! Load up your gear, strap on your gravel shoes, and aim for the wide‑open Karoo horizon. The Tanqua Kuru is calling, and we’re answering with throttles, pedals, and hearts wide open. At least four Sling aircraft and our solid team of riders will make the pilgrimage to Tankwa Tented Camp for what’s become an annual tradition of grit, gravel, and greatness.
There’s still one title former Springbok Bob Skinstad hasn’t claimed… This isn’t a stadium victory. No crowds, no ceremony, no easy applause. This one is fought for. Across endless gravel, through the dust, under the relentless Tankwa sun. And he’s chasing it down on a Sling Cycles Tagati. So, the question is — when he rolls up to the start line… will you be there with him?
