“With the terrible winter weather hopefully behind us now, we are looking forward to plenty of summer flying ahead. We started the summer flying season with a demo day in sunny Tauranga with The Tauranga Aero Club hosting us for the day.
We completed 13 demo flights on the Saturday with a number of the instructors and aeroclub members getting to experience the Sling TSi for themselves and seeing just why they are becoming so popular worldwide. We really enjoy sharing the TSi with everyone and look forward to getting more of you in the seat.
We have many more aeroclubs and people to see around NZ so keep up with where we are going to be over the next few months on our Sling NZ Facebook page!”

After reaching Cape Town in Part 2, Josh Flowers and Chelsea Smith of Aviation101, along with Chris Lammert and Keelyn Costello, reunite with friends and fly their Sling aircraft north from Stellenbosch through the Tankwa Karoo, before crossing into Namibia and exploring the spectacular Fish River Canyon. From formation flying and the Tanqua Kuru Bicycle Race to fireside celebrations and an off-airport landing in the desert, the journey becomes less about following a plan and more about embracing whatever comes next—because sometimes the most memorable part of flying happens after the engine shuts down.
